James Newberry

James is owner and managing partner of People Scope. He has over 15 years experience working for professional firms of all shapes and most sizes – from Magic Circle law firms and top accountancy practices to regional and local advisers in the law, accounting, surveying and consulting. His work involves ‘thought leadership’ and up-skilling the efforts of professionals in marketing and business development. He has an MBA from Cranfield.

Maeve Jackson

Maeve is a business development & marketing consultant with over 20 years experience in business to business sales and marketing. She has worked in-house within professional services and prior to that within industry across household names such as BT, BUPA and Royal Mail in the UK and internationally. During her time as Head of Business Development at a leading national law firm Maeve led the development of sales strategy, commercial leadership and client management. She works with professionals at all levels developing commercial programmes and providing consulting, coaching and training.

Philip Harlow

Philip has 16 years experience in consultancy, with an exclusive emphasis on client-supplier relationships in a business to business environment. Outside of professional services and his work for law, accountancy and other firms, he has worked in a variety of market sectors, particularly in retail and wholesale distribution. He delivers training programmes for lawyers, accountants and consultants in business development and client relationship management. Philip has an MBA from the University of Westminster.

David Fox

David is an experienced human resource and management expert with considerable expertise in coaching and training senior professionals in large law and other firms. This experience includes executive coaching, management and leadership training, and change management programmes.

David Wallace

David is a senior People Scope associate with a particular experience base in the professions. Working for Scottish law firm Shepperd & Wedderburn, he was voted UK Marketing Director of the Year. Based in Edinburgh, he has recently consulted on the planning, development and execution of marketing strategies in a wide range of sectors – including recruitment, property, town and country planning, design, legal and management consulting. He has an MBA from London Business School.
